Definition of Terms for mint stamps...
*** - POF (Post Office Fresh) - as new in every respect like the day it was printed
** - NH (Never Hinged) - as above except that there may be a very minor gum crease, bend or a minor smudge on the gum that makes it something less than perfect.
* - LH (Light Hinged) - as above except that there is evidance that the stamp was hinged at one time (the hinge has been removed but there is no impression left in the gum from being hinged).
* - H (Hinged) - stamp was hinged at one time (the hinge has been removed and there may be an impression in the gum from being hinged).
* - HR (Hinge Remnant) - stamp has a remnant of a previoius hinge and/or has been hinged multiple times.
